Do I need to rake a 26 inch motorcycle wheel?
Whether it’s bolt-on or weld-in, you must use a 9-degree rake kit if you plan on going to the next level and getting that 26-inch motorcycle wheel. SMT trusts American Suspension to deliver the best rake kits for your bike.
As the name suggests, bolt-on kits are designed to be attached to the existing framework of your bike, while weld-on kits require some welding in order to install. Do I need a new front fender for my 26 inch motorcycle wheel?
The simple answer is “yes”. A fender spacer will not make the grade. A 26-inch fender tucks your tire and a portion of your rim underneath the fender itself. A custom 26" fender can completely change the look of your stock Harley-Davidson or simply be a necessary component to your custom-build.

Do I need a caliper kit or adaptor for oversized rotors?
When upgrading to oversized rotors, an SMT caliper kit is an essential piece of equipment. We offers an adapter kit for 13 inch rotors and a complete caliper kit that includes a caliper for 18 inch rotors. These kits have everything you need to install oversized rotors on your motorcycle. Once installed, the SMT complete caliper kit or adapter provides superior stopping power and braking performance.
