SMT Wheels and the world renowned Professional Skateboarder Greg Lutzka collaborate hand in hand to bring the motorcycle industry a new sleek and classy wheel design that we call the “Lutzka Edition”. When working with Greg Lutzka he had stated that his vision of a wheel was something along the old school Dyna and FXR look. That’s when we decided on a classic 9 spoke concept with a slight directional pull back to give the wheel a bit more of an aggressive stance. Step lip cut hoop with milled spokes gives off that old school mag look but with new age benefits.
Forged from 6061-T6 Aluminum and then precision milled, this wheel offers the speed and strength that is expected from SMT. When paired with the SMT performance hubs this wheel comes weighing in at around 13 lbs. for a 19×2.15 wheel. With that kind of weight now you have increased performance with less rotational mass and a killer looking wheel!
The Lutzka Edition wheel is available in all sizes that SMT offers. Whether you’re into the big 34 inch wheels or smaller sizes like the 19 inch geared more for performance we can definitely make it happen. As all SMT wheels are “custom made to order”, this means the Lutzka Edition wheel can be built and set up for any configuration or rotor size.
